Community Arts & Sciences Day / Egg Drop

Each spring, the entire Clarendon community participates in an incredible morning of experiential learning in the arts and sciences:  Community Arts & Sciences Day (CASD)!  Students spend the morning working with parent volunteers and non-profit organizations learning about various concepts in science (…physics, chemistry, biology…) and different forms of art (…dance, music, visual…).  For more information, visit:

The Great Clarendon “Extreme Green” Egg Drop

Students working individually or in teams design compostable egg drop containers to protect their raw white eggs from a second story fall off the school building.  The Egg Drop occurs in the afternoon following CASD.  Parent volunteers toss and check over 200 compostable egg drop containers to see whose eggs survived.  More on the Egg Drop here:
